Believe or not?

“It is three o'clock in the morning, and a middle age couple is sleeping comfortably in their bed. The wife is white woman who has brown hair. She has not cleaned her makeup even though she has gone asleep. Her makeup is the last vestige of her facade. The man is African American wears blue pajama, his wife wears pink pajama. It seems that they are different, but they are perfect match. Suddenly, the incessant ringing of the nearby phone breaks the silence within the room. The red phone is jumping in the air as though it is a naughty child. The couple both quickly pulls their hands out of the security of their warm bed. Both of them are sensitive to this sound. They are lying in bed; however, their thoughts lie elsewhere. There are a wide range of emotions present on their faces. Are they shocked, nervous, fearful, wary or distrustful? Are they waiting for knowing something?” Even though there is not a word on the picture, it brings out a series of questions and thoughts to the audiences.
As readers of The New Yorker, many of them believe that this picture uses a sense of humor to reveal the secret relation between electors Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton. They are electing to be the next president of America. They are acting like enemy in front of the public. There may appear to be animosity on the surface, but in actuality, they have become somewhat reluctant allies. One political tactic is to show an ever growing rift between two potential candidates, because within human instinct, there will always be a “lust for blood.” When people fight, they draw attention to themselves, and this is a currently employed tactic of the Democratic Party. However, there are a dark secret behind this fighting that many people do not notice. The designer reveals that Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama are on the same political boat. The political candidates often try their best to manipulate the unknowing public. Many people think that it is a big misfortune for a society.
It seems that people's character is split in two ways, social and personal, external and internal. This does not only happen in politics, but in everyday life as well. When many people first look at this picture, it draws them to think about the relation between wife and husband. They are wondering what kinds of relationship this couple have. They are sleeping on the same bed, but many people feel that there is a wall set between them. Who is calling at three o’clock in the morning? Why do they both want to pick up the phone? It is easy to see that they both have their own secrets, but afraid of their wife/husband to know. Many people believe that they both carry on a clandestine love affair because this has become a really serious social problem. In a family, a couple can both have lover outside the family, but keep a peace at house. They do not decide to divorce might because of their children, they still want their children to respect. It might be money because it is hard to separate their common property. It might be fame because they are famous people; they want to keep good figure in public. It might be traditional rules because their parents’ pressure. However, they do not like each other anymore. They do not trust each other at all. In this world, the longest distance between a couple is: one people stands in front of the other, but they do not trust each other. The even worst thing is a couple can cheat on each other, but still say “I love you” to each other everyday. Some people are trying to fool the other people in the society. This is sadness of human evolution. However, People should realize that they can cheat everyone, but not their heart.
In business area, many companies try to donate a lot of money to the society, they build schools, they help poor students to go to school, and they give food to homeless. They are famous for being kind-heart. Many people believe that they are nicest persons in the world. However, one day, many people found out that they were fooled. Those poor students, those homeless people actually become the tools for the companies. Many CEO donate some money to society, however, they gain more money from evading tax. On the other hand, Those CEO gain attention from the public, it helps to develop the companies too. While people are shocked, people should realize that “Don’t use your eyes to see this society.”
